When Structure Speaks Louder Than Words
Share
Some pieces are not made to blend in. They are made to define space.I was inspired by the sleeve shape. That was where everything began. The form caught my attention, and I allowed the design to grow from that single detail.
I wanted the sleeves to feel strong, sculptural, and intentional without being overdone. They are not an added feature. They are the focus. The volume pushes outward with confidence, while the cropped bodice brings everything back into balance. It is shape and control working together.
The black and white abstract print was chosen to let the structure lead. There is no color to soften the impact and nothing extra to distract from the form. The contrast keeps the jacket bold, clean, and direct.
The high collar adds presence, and the front zipper gives flexibility. Fully closed, the jacket feels firm and commanding. Slightly open, it becomes relaxed without losing its strength. The gold hardware finishes the piece with just enough polish.
This jacket reflects how I design. I follow what inspires me and build with intention. I am not interested in chasing trends or creating pieces that only work for a moment. I create garments that can stand on their own.
This is not a jacket meant to fade into the background. It is for women who are comfortable being seen, taking up space, and wearing pieces that speak before they do.
